Product Description
Pewag 1/2" (12mm) Security Chain – Sold by the Foot (Custom Lengths) | #56847
The Pewag 1/2" (12mm) Security Chain is Pewag’s largest, strongest square-link security chain, engineered for maximum theft deterrence in high-risk environments. This is the chain of choice when weight, size, and strength are not compromises — they’re requirements.
Each link is case-hardened to withstand aggressive cutting, grinding, and prying attacks. The square-link geometry minimizes effective attack angles, reducing the ability of bolt cutters and saws to gain leverage.
- Chain size: 1/2" (12mm) square-link hardened steel
- Hardness: 62 HRC surface / 42 HRC core, case-hardened to 6% depth
- Weight: Approx. 2.39 lbs per foot
- Sold by the foot: Custom lengths up to 50 feet continuous
- Best matched lock: Viro 4153 armored padlock (sold separately)
