Product Description
Pewag 1/2" (12mm) Security Chain – Sold by the Foot for Custom Lengths
The Pewag 1/2" (12mm) Security Chain is Pewag’s largest and most robust square-link security chain, designed to deliver maximum protection for high-value assets. Built from hardened steel with a 6% case hardening depth, this chain is engineered to resist cutting, grinding, and prying attacks, making it ideal for securing motorcycles, trailers, heavy equipment, industrial property, and more.
With a surface hardness of 62 HRC (Rockwell) and core hardness of 42 HRC, this chain is designed to withstand severe abuse, while its square-link design minimizes attack angles for bolt cutters and saws. Weighing approximately 3.3 lbs per foot, it is a heavy-duty option for the most demanding security applications.
