Unlike self-closing hooks, the L-1339 features a spring-loaded safety latch that provides quick and easy load attachment while maintaining security. The clevis pin attachment allows for direct integration with Grade 100 and Grade 80 chain slings, making it a versatile choice for various rigging setups. This hook is individually proof-tested to 2.5 times the working load limit (WLL) and fatigue-rated at 1.5 times the WLL for 20,000 cycles, ensuring long-lasting durability. Available in WLL sizes ranging from 3,200 lbs to 44,100 lbs, the L-1339 also features Crosby’s QUIC-CHECK® deformation and angle indicators for enhanced safety monitoring.
