Crosby G-400 Eye Nuts – Heavy-Duty, Hot-Dip Galvanized Rigging Hardware

The Crosby G-400 Eye Nut is a forged, heavy-duty rigging attachment point made from quenched & tempered steel with a hot-dip galvanized finish for superior corrosion resistance. Designed for in-line pull applications, it features UNC Class 2 threads tapped after galvanizing and meets ASME B30.26 standards with a 5:1 design factor. Available in sizes 1 through 11, with tap sizes ranging from 1/4” to 2” and a Working Load Limit (WLL) of 520 lbs to 40,000 lbs, the G-400 ensures secure and reliable performance in industrial and material handling applications. Galvanized eye nuts are intended for use with self-colored and/or zinc-plated rods and are not cut oversized for use on galvanized rods. A common mistake is misinterpreting the stock size ("S") marked on the body as the tap size—these are different, and the correct tap size should always be referenced for proper fitment. A blank (as-forged) version is also available under the S-4028 model, offering additional flexibility for various rigging needs.
