Crosby G-2160 Wide Body Shackles

When you need to make a truly heavy lift, then look no further than G-2160 series of shackles. Featuring a wide body design and robust Working Load Limits (WLL), these shackles bring all the right attributes for the job. Their "Wide Body" frame produces an increased shackle bow radius by a minimum of 58%. That means greater surface area contact for slings, which in turn means no thimbles and greater sling efficiency. All sizes shown below are made from forged alloy steel and are proof-tested at 2 times the WLL (capacity shown in metric tons). Further testing and certification available upon request (inquire at time of order). Select sizes are now equipped with the Easy-Loc pin, which utilizes a hinged collar and is lighter than previous bolt & nut-style pins. Larger sizes also available (up to 1,550T).
