Crosby Light Champion Blocks--The Industry Standard
Crosby tends to lead the rigging industry in many product categories, and blocks are one of them. Most imported blocks are designed after popular Crosby models, but there's nothing like the real thing. For example, the 418 Light Champion Snatch Blocks w/ Hook are made from forged steel with alloy, heat-treated hooks. They are available in many different sizes to accommodate different wire rope diameters. Choose between bronze bushings or roller bearings. All models are equipped with pressure lube fittings, and sizes 4-1/2" and larger are RFID equipped. So really, there's nothing light-duty about these blocks. Other Types of Blocks
In addition to the most popular "Light Champion" series of snatch blocks, Crosby makes many other types and styles of blocks--not all of them are shown here, so please contact us if you're looking for something else. If you want a common snatch block similar to the 418 model, but in a higher capacity, check out the 416 Alloy Snatch Blocks w/ Hook. These blocks feature an all alloy construction which results in a 40% weight reduction when compared to blocks of comparable capacities.
