QOF = Quad Leg + Oblong Master Link + Foundry Hooks
Our Grade 100 QOF chain slings are built with a rugged quad-leg alloy chain assembly featuring an oblong master link on top and four open-style foundry hooks on the working ends. Designed for overhead lifting applications involving large or irregular shapes, this configuration provides four pick points for maximum load distribution, balance, and control during complex lifts. Foundry hooks are engineered with exceptionally wide throat openings and intentionally do not include safety latches, allowing them to easily engage around larger diameter objects where standard hooks cannot fit. The oblong master link ensures proper seating in the crane hook, while the heavy-duty foundry hooks provide a simple, effective connection point for specialized lifting scenarios. Manufactured from high-strength alloy components and assembled in-house, QOF slings deliver a reliable solution for demanding applications requiring maximum hook opening and multi-point stability.
