BLP-138 Sliding Choker Wire Rope Slings

We make wire rope rigging slings every day! These single leg wire rope slings have a standard size swaged eye on top and a heavy-duty thimbled eye on the bottom. The sliding choker hook is made to attach to the bottom eye, as the thimble provides long term protection and increases the sling life. This is the right sling to order for choking and slinging rebar, or other materials on the construction site (logging chokers are not legal for overhead lifting). They can be ordered with light-duty vinyl or heavy-duty aluminum load tags. We offer these pre-determined lengths, or you can special order a custom length. We can also add thimbles, hooks or other fittings as needed.

Please note that because the same hook is used to fit more than one size of sling, the slings below have been properly downrated. If you want latch kits installed on your sliding hooks, please note that the heavy-duty thimbles we use may not fit inside the hook and allow the latch to fully close. This is why our standard slings do not have latch kits installed.
