These Grade 100 chain slings feature a combination of Cartec's CDFXA4 master link combined with Pewag's specialized BW plate hooks. The CDFXA4 master link features a slick and sleek design, with integrated, in-line adjusters that give you full capacity, even when your chain is shortened. Additionally, these master links use fewer overall components and therefore weigh less (on average) and are easier to inspect. The end of each chain leg features a specialized BW plate hook, which is designed specifically for the lifting of steel plate, but can also be used on stacks of metal or timber. Based on Pewag's recommendations, we only offer them on three and four leg slings to ensure proper load stability. Also be sure to keep an eye on lifting angles so that your hooks maintain a proper bite. Plate hooks are attached at bottom of sling using a coupling link that securely connects to the closed eye, making a very sure connection. Made from Grade 100 alloy steel, safety factor of 4:1.
