Crosby HG-228 Jaw & Jaw Turnbuckles – Reliable Tensioning with Dual Jaw Connections

The Crosby HG-228 Jaw & Jaw Turnbuckle is engineered for precise tensioning and secure load adjustment in straight or in-line pull applications. Featuring quenched & tempered jaw end fittings with bolts and nuts for sizes 1/4” to 5/8” and pins and cotters for sizes 3/4” to 2-3/4”, this turnbuckle ensures a robust and reliable connection. The hot-dip galvanized body provides excellent corrosion resistance for use in marine, industrial, and construction environments. With a modified UNJ thread design for improved fatigue properties and a 5:1 design factor for enhanced safety, these turnbuckles meet or exceed ASME B30.26, ASTM F-1145, and Federal Specification FF-T-791b standards. Available in sizes from 5/16” with an 800 lb Working Load Limit (WLL) up to 2-3/4” with a 75,000 lb WLL, each model is fatigue-rated to 20,000 cycles at 1.5 times the WLL, delivering exceptional strength and durability in demanding applications.
