Green Pin® Sling Shackle BN – High-Capacity, Enhanced Sling Protection
The Green Pin® Sling Shackle BN is a high load capacity bow shackle designed to optimize sling performance in heavy lifting applications. Featuring an increased bow radius, it reduces wear on wire and synthetic ropes, allowing for the use of lighter slings without compromising strength. Constructed from Grade 8 alloy steel, both the bow and pin are quenched and tempered for maximum durability. The shackle offers double safety with a split pin and safety bolt, preventing accidental unscrewing during operations. Available in Working Load Limits (WLL) ranging from 7 to 1,550 tons, the shackle meets or exceeds industry standards, including ASME B30.26 and US Federal Specification RR-C-271. For sizes 7 to 55 tons, the shackles are hot-dip galvanized; larger sizes feature a silver-painted bow and green-painted pin. Operating effectively in temperatures from -40°C to +200°C (-40°F to +392°F), the Green Pin® Sling Shackle BN is an excellent choice for demanding lifting projects.
