Crosby A-331 Clevis Slip Hooks
The Crosby A-331 Clevis Slip Hooks are made from forged alloy steel, quenched and tempered. Although considered heavy-duty and great for many uses, they are not rated for overhead lifting or Grade 70 tie down chain systems. Nonetheless, they are a great general purpose rigging hook. They offer quick and easy assembly, a 4:1 design factor and higher Working Load Limits than carbon hooks.
What About Overhead Lifting?
Don't use this hook; instead, use the L-1339 Grade 100 Clevis Sling Hook, which is suitable for load securement, overhead lifting and practically anything else you can think of.
