Imported Heavy-Duty Galvanized Thimbles
These heavy-duty thimbles are galvanized and ideal for use in wire rope slings. They help preserve the shape of the eye and offer protection against abrasion for exposed wires. On average, you will get a longer service life from your slings when heavy-duty steel thimbles are installed in the sling eyes. Because thimbles are a non-critical, non-load bearing part of a sling assembly, most of our customers elect to use imported thimbles and save a little money.
