HYPER-XII™ is a 12-strand single-braid rope made from High Modulus Polyethylene (HMPE) for exceptional strength, abrasion resistance, and a superior strength-to-weight ratio. With a specific density of 0.975, it’s lightweight and floats—ideal for marine, towing, dredging, and commercial fishing where easier handling and safety matter as much as performance.
Comparable to steel wire rope without the corrosion or weight, HYPER-XII™ delivers breaking strengths from 4,900 lbs (3/16” / 5mm) up to 1,270,000 lbs (4” / 96mm). It resists chemicals, UV exposure, and wet conditions, and is also the foundation for our high-performance synthetic winch lines—a durable, flexible alternative to traditional steel cable. Available in blue or orange with a marine finish, it’s built for heavy-duty pulls that demand strength, durability, and control.
