Crosby G-450 Wire Rope Clips – Heavy-Duty Rigging & Tensioning Solutions
Crosby G-450 Wire Rope Clips, easily identified by the Red U-Bolt®, are designed for heavy-duty rigging, tensioning, and wire rope termination applications. Featuring a galvanized finish for corrosion resistance (except for the 3/16” size, which has an electro-plated U-bolt and nuts), these clips provide 80% efficiency for rope sizes 1/8” to 7/8” and 90% efficiency for sizes 1” to 3-1/2”, based on the catalog breaking strength of wire rope. Forged bases are used for sizes 1/8” through 2-1/2” and 3”, while 2-3/4” and 3-1/2” sizes feature cast steel bases. Each clip is individually tagged with installation instructions and warnings to ensure proper application. Sizes up to 1-1/2” include rolled threads for enhanced durability. Meeting or exceeding ASME B30.26 standards, Crosby G-450 clips undergo rigorous testing for fatigue life, impact properties, and material traceability.
