RUD VLBG-PLUS Swivel Hoist Rings – Heavy Duty Side-Pull Lifting Points
The RUD VLBG-PLUS swivel hoist ring is a premium bolt-on lifting point designed for safe lifting from multiple directions. Unlike traditional eye bolts, the VLBG-PLUS features a 360° rotating body and a suspension ring that pivots 180°, allowing the lifting point to automatically align with the direction of pull and greatly reduce dangerous side loading. Manufactured in Germany by RUD, these lifting points incorporate a captive but replaceable ICE-Bolt made from patented steel that provides excellent toughness, corrosion protection, and long service life. The off-center load introduction design improves strength and reduces wear, while an integrated clamping spring keeps the ring positioned for easy connection of hooks or chain slings. Available in sizes from M8 through M48 with working load limits from 0.63 tons up to 20 tons, VLBG-PLUS hoist rings are widely used on molds, heavy machinery, steel fabrications, and other equipment where reliable multi-directional lifting points are required.
