Chicago Shoulder Screw Eye Bolts
Screw eye bolts (aka lag eye bolts) are very popular with arborists for cabling / bracing applications. They are also popular with farmers, ranchers and homeowners for installing tire swings or fixing fences / gates. The thread pattern is large and grabs a firm hold in wood, plus a cone point makes them tap easily. Chicago makes their shoulder screw eye bolts from forged steel with a hot galvanized finish. A shoulder right below the eye allows for a nice, flush installation. Made in the U.S.A.
