Road Plate Hoist Rings

Road Plate Hoist Rings – Coil Thread Lifting Hardware

Secure Lifting for Road Plates, Trench Covers, and Steel Sheets

Road plate hoist rings provide a rugged and reliable solution for lifting heavy steel plates used in construction, utility work, and street repairs. Designed for use with welded-in threaded inserts, these hoist rings feature coarse coil threads for fast engagement and a strong hold. Common applications include street plates, trench cover plates, and temporary steel covers for roadways and sidewalks.

Purpose-Built for Road Plate Lifting

These hoist rings are designed specifically for lifting and maneuvering road plates. The threaded lifting point screws into a welded nut insert (installed by the customer), forming a secure and reusable anchor. This setup helps ensure safe handling in high-traffic, high-load environments. Each unit pivots 180° and rotates 360° under load, allowing for optimal rigging alignment.

Why Use a Road Plate Hoist Ring?

Using a hoist ring specifically designed for steel plate lifting provides safer, more efficient handling compared to ad hoc solutions. These lifting points are tested, certified, and built for rugged field use. When paired with welded-in threaded inserts, they ensure long-term reliability and meet the requirements of ASME B30.26 and similar lifting standards.
