Caldwell BLG Heavy-Duty Barrier Grabs

The Caldwell Barrier Grab has been an industry standard for over 20 years. Over the years, Caldwell has added sizes, increased capacity, improved grip range and changed the feet to improve operation. Now, their experienced engineers have done it again, increasing the grip ratio, reducing overall tong size, adding ergonomic handles, refining the Auto-Latch operation and increasing the ASME BTH service class to category 3! The new, compact and rugged design holds up to the work environments where barriers are commonly used. Designed to handle concrete barriers from 6" - 12" nominal width at the top of the barrier. The stainless steel Auto-Latch is mounted to ensure proper alignment. Locating assembly orients tong on barrier without operator intervention and will pivot when grab is set on the ground. Gripping pads pivot to conform with the load--replaceable polyurethane pads protect the barrier from damage. A centering guide cut out on grab shoe helps to properly center tong over barrier for a level lift. Extended handles on each side keep operator away from load and can be adjusted as needed. The lifting eye allows for easy hook attachment, self-centers rigging, and will accommodate a fork.
