Crosby G-2169 Wide Body Shackles

Crosby designed these "Wide Body" shackles to significantly improve the life of wire rope slings, and for proper connection of high-strength round slings or other high-performance slings. The larger size of the shackle bow gives more surface area contact between the shackle and sling, which translates to a minimum sling efficiency gain of 15%. Simply put, your slings will last longer with these shackles. They are made from forged alloy steel with a galvanized finish. Each shackle is proof-tested and magnetic particle inspected. They are load-rated and Quenched and Tempered with a simple screw pin design for easy rigging and un-rigging of loads.
