Imported Pear Links
These pear links are made from weldless, forged steel with a painted finish. Because of their shape--being narrow at top and wide at bottom--they are preferred by many of our customers for use with bridles, especially wire rope bridles. You can get more eyes (thimbled eyes in particular) fit securely into the bottom of a pear link than any other type of link. They feature a 5:1 safety factor too, just like wire rope, meaning you can pair their Working Load Limit with a sling or bridle of your choice. Most sizes are alloy, the smallest and largest sizes (3/8" and 1-3/8") are made from carbon steel.
