Crosby S-264 Pad Eyes – Heavy-Duty Weld-On Attachment Points for Rigging

The Crosby S-264 Pad Eye is a forged, heavy-duty attachment point for rigging, designed for permanent welding to steel surfaces. Made from quenched & tempered 1035 carbon steel, these pad eyes offer exceptional strength, durability, and excellent welding qualities, making them widely used on farm machinery, trucks, steel-hulled marine vessels, and material handling equipment. While the S-264 provides a secure anchoring point for rigging, Crosby does not assign a Working Load Limit (WLL) for lifting applications. For lifting-specific applications, users should consider the Crosby S-265 Weld-On Pivoting Link or the Gunnebo UKN Weld-On Excavator Hook. To ensure proper performance and safety, all welding should follow American Welding Society (AWS) specifications. Additionally, sizes 0 through 1-1/2 meet the requirements of Military Specification MS-51930A.
