Crosby S-1316 Shur-Loc® Eye Hooks – Self-Closing for Maximum Safety
The Crosby S-1316 Shur-Loc® Eye Hook is a Grade 100 self-closing hook designed for secure lifting and rigging applications. Unlike the S-1317 Clevis Hook, the S-1316 features an eye attachment, making it ideal for wire rope slings, chain slings, and synthetic slings. Built from forged alloy steel and quenched & tempered for strength, this hook includes a positive locking latch that automatically secures when loaded, ensuring maximum safety and load retention. The recessed trigger design protects against damage, and the integrated engineered flat allows for compatibility with S-1325 chain couplers. Individually proof-tested to 2.5 times the working load limit (WLL) and fatigue-rated for 20,000 cycles, the S-1316 meets EN1677-3 performance standards.
