The Crosby G-2130A Grade 80 Alloy Bolt Type Shackles are engineered for demanding lifting applications, offering exceptional strength, durability, and traceability. Made from forged alloy steel and quenched and tempered, these shackles meet or exceed Grade 8 performance requirements. They feature a hot-dip galvanized finish and a thin head bolt with a nut and cotter pin, ensuring secure connections. With an industry-leading 8:1 design factor and a maximum proof load of twice the Working Load Limit (WLL), these shackles provide superior safety and performance. Available in WLLs from 2 to 17 metric tons, they comply with ASME B30.26, Federal Specification RR-C-271H, and DNV 2.7-1 offshore container standards. Additionally, they meet DNV impact requirements of 42 Joules at -40°C (-40°F), ensuring reliability in extreme conditions. Proof testing and certification to ABS, DNV, Lloyds, or other standards are available upon request, making them ideal for offshore, industrial, and heavy-duty rigging applications.
