Pewag Grade 80 Alloy Eye Hooks
An eye hoist hook like this is really a staple product in the rigging business. And instead of being cheap and made in China, this hook is a fine product from Italy, and part of Pewag's reputable "ELD" fitting lineup. It's made from Grade 80 Alloy Steel and features a heavy-duty construction with a safety factor of 4:1. A heavy-duty safety latch comes pre-installed and replacement latches are available here. These hooks are not intended for use with Grade 80 or Grade 100 chain slings. Good alternatives for chain sling hooks would be the Crosby L-1327 Eye Sling Hooks, or perhaps the Gunnebo EKN Eye Sling Hooks.
