Chicago Eye & Eye Turnbuckles – USA-Made Strength and Adjustability
The Chicago Eye & Eye Turnbuckles offer precise load tensioning and length adjustment for rigging, lifting, and load-securing applications. Made in the USA from drop-forged, heat-treated steel, these turnbuckles are built for durability and performance in industrial and construction environments. Featuring eye-to-eye end fittings, they provide secure connections for wire rope, chain, and other tensioning systems. With a size range from 1/4" to 1" and a working load limit (WLL) of 500 to 10,000 lbs, they meet the performance requirements of ASTM Specification F1145-92 Type 1 Grade 1 (superseding FF-T-791B). Designed with a 5:1 safety factor, their maximum load ratings are based on a straight vertical lift in a gradually increasing manner, and any angular lifts, shock loads, or modifications can significantly reduce their capacity. These high-quality turnbuckles provide reliable and adjustable tensioning for a wide range of rigging and lifting applications.
