Port-A-Wraps are commonly used in arborist rigging. They are attached to the tree by a common tree sling, such as a dead-eye sling, whoopie sling or loopie sling. The rigging line is wrapped around the Port-A-Wrap (instructions included!) to create friction, which allows for smooth, controlled lowering. The rigging line can be safely tied off should the ground man need to step away. Available in four different sizes and three different finishes, including the new Stainless Steel option from Notch. For really heavy rigging, check out the new Port-A-Wrap XL which handles up to 7/8" line and has a beefy 6,000 lbs Working Load Limit.
