Crosby G-2100 ROV Shackle – QUIC-Threaded for Fast, Secure Subsea Operations
The Crosby G-2100 ROV Shackle is designed for remotely operated vehicle (ROV) applications, offering quick engagement with its QUIC-Thread bolt system. Unlike traditional threaded shackles, the patented QUIC-Thread design requires only 3.5 rotations for full engagement, significantly reducing connection time in subsea environments. Made from forged alloy steel and quenched & tempered for maximum strength, this shackle features an industry-best 6:1 design factor and a proof load of 2x the Working Load Limit (WLL). The galvanized bow is coated in API RP 17H-compliant yellow, ensuring high visibility for ROV operations. Available in capacities from 9.5 to 85 metric tons, the G-2100 includes QUIC-CHECK® deformation and angle indicators, built-in tether points, and optional API RP 17H-compliant 316 stainless steel handles (T, D, F, and Eye models) for improved ROV maneuverability.
