One used to need several components, all assembled together, to make an adjustable chain sling. It was expensive and heavy to do so, thus many users went without. Gunnebo fixed that problem and when it introduced the GrabiQ line of chain sling fittings. MG links (stands for Master Grab) combine the features and functions of several components into one compact, slick design. The link fits onto most common crane hooks, has a pocket for chain sling adjustment and allows for direction connection to the chain with a clevis pin. That means you can leave out multiple components that were previously required (such as a separate master link, two coupling links, a grab hook and an additional short section of chain). A fully self-contained unit, it offers a no-mess approach to chain sling adjustability. Less fittings means less money and less moving parts too! Proof-tested and certified with a 4:1 safety factor.
