6x26 Swaged Wire Rope – Heavy-Duty Cable for Logging & Rigging
Our 6x26 Swaged Wire Rope is a high-strength, compacted cable designed for logging, construction, and heavy rigging applications. With its swaged (compacted) construction, this cable has a higher linear density, making it heavier, stiffer, and stronger than standard wire rope. It is commonly used for running lines, skylines, and guylines and is a popular choice in yarder logging operations. While it can be used as a winch (drum) line behind a skidder or dozer, it is generally not used for sling building due to its stiffness. Featuring a greasy coating for improved performance and corrosion resistance, this cable is available in sizes from 3/8" to 1-3/8", with a breaking strength range of 18,500 to 222,000 lbs. Built for extreme durability, 6x26 Swaged Wire Rope provides exceptional wear resistance in high-load applications.
