Crosby HR-1000CT Cold-Tuff Hoist Rings – Engineered for Extreme Cold Environments
Crosby HR-1000CT Cold-Tuff Hoist Rings are specifically designed for cold climate applications, maintaining full-rated capacity even at subzero temperatures. Made from quenched and tempered alloy steel, all primary load-bearing components undergo Charpy impact testing, meeting 31 ft-lb at -4°F for the body, bushing, washer, and bail, and 20 ft-lb at -150°F for the bolt. These hoist rings are individually proof tested to 2 times the working load limit, 100% magnetic particle inspected, and coated with thermo-diffusion galvanization for superior corrosion resistance. The top washer is color-coded for easy identification—blue for UNC threads and grey for metric threads. Available in UNC sizes from 1/2" to 2-1/2" with working load limits from 1,900 lbs to 45,000 lbs, and metric sizes from M12 to M48 with working load limits from 825 kg to 13,250 kg, these hoist rings are certified to DNV offshore lifting standards, ensuring reliable performance in the harshest conditions.
