Product Description

Crosby G-209A Alloy Screw Pin Anchor Shackles – Grade 8 Performance for Critical Rigging

The Crosby G-209A Alloy Screw Pin Anchor Shackles are engineered for superior strength, reliability, and traceability in heavy-duty rigging applications. These shackles are forged from quenched and tempered alloy steel with alloy pins and meet the demanding performance requirements of Grade 8 shackles. With sizes ranging from 3/8" up to 1-3/8" and Working Load Limits from 2 tons to 21 tons, the G-209A series is hot-dip galvanized for corrosion resistance, with the 3/8" size mechanically galvanized. Designed for use in extreme environments, they are approved for temperatures ranging from -40°F to 400°F and meet or exceed ASME B30.26 standards. Each shackle is permanently marked with its Working Load Limit. While not factory proof tested, G-209A shackles can be proof tested and certified to standards such as ABS, DNV, or Lloyd’s upon request at the time of order. With a 5:1 design factor and Crosby’s trusted Red Pin® quality, these shackles are a dependable solution for demanding jobsite conditions.
