Product Description
Justrite 7150400 Safety Can — 5 Gallon Type I for Oil, Green
Overview: The Justrite 7150400 is a 5-gallon Type I steel safety can designed for the safe storage and dispensing of oil. Featuring a single spout for both filling and pouring, this container combines rugged durability with integrated safety features. Its green color coding helps prevent misidentification and ensures proper segregation of oil from other flammables in industrial and maintenance facilities.
Why It’s Safer: The sealed lid incorporates automatic positive-pressure relief that vents between 3–5 psig to guard against rupture or explosion. A stainless steel flame arrester dissipates heat to stop flashback ignition, while the leak-tested body guarantees safe use with oils and other combustibles. The chemical-resistant powder-coat finish protects against corrosion and wear, even in demanding environments.
Compliance & Approvals: Meets OSHA and NFPA 30 requirements; FM, UL/ULC, and TÜV approved. CARB compliant and meets California CAL/OSHA requirements (CCR Title 8 §1930(a)(1)); exempt under CCR Title 13 §2467.3(c).
