Product Description
Justrite 7150300 Safety Can — 5 Gallon Type I for Kerosene, Blue
Overview: The Justrite 7150300 is a 5-gallon Type I steel safety can designed specifically for kerosene. With its single-spout design for filling and pouring, durable steel body, and integrated safety mechanisms, it provides reliable, OSHA-compliant storage for kerosene in maintenance shops, industrial plants, and other work environments. Its blue color coding helps prevent dangerous mix-ups with other flammables.
Why It’s Safer: The sealed lid includes automatic positive-pressure relief that vents between 3–5 psig to prevent rupture or explosion. A stainless steel flame arrester dissipates heat to stop flashback ignition. Each can is 100% leak tested and finished with a tough, chemical-resistant powder coat to withstand demanding use and resist corrosion.
Compliance & Approvals: Meets OSHA and NFPA 30 requirements; FM, UL/ULC, and TÜV approved. CARB compliant and meets California CAL/OSHA requirements (CCR Title 8 §1930(a)(1)); exempt under CCR Title 13 §2467.3(c).
