Product Description
A New & Better Way to Build Chain SlingsGrabiQ is an exciting new family of alloy chain sling components. Chain slings used to be built with many components, each one doing a separate job. That made chain slings heavy, bulky and expensive. With GrabiQ, a single component can perform up to three separate functions. For example, a Master Grab serves as the master link, connecting link for the load chain and as the shortening hook for adjustment of the chain (available as "MG" for single leg chains or "MGD" for double leg chains). Building the same chain sling using "old style" components would result in using up to seven top rigging components instead of just one.
Fewer Components Means Less WeightMost of the time, GrabiQ slings will be lighter than traditional chain slings because fewer components are used. And because GrabiQ fittings are made from Grade 100 alloy steel, they have a lifting capacity that is usually 25% higher than Grade 80 chain slings.
Easier InspectionsTo properly inspect a chain sling, you must inspect each component. That takes a lot of time, which leads to many users skipping the inspection process altogether. Because GrabiQ slings use fewer components, chain sling inspections are easier to perform, meaning they are more likely to be done on a regular basis (as legally required).
- Made from Grade 100 chain and fittings, new and certified
- Triple leg design features a GrabiQ MF master link w/ built-in flat to allow installation of one CG and one CGD top connecting links, with latched sling hooks on the other end
- Thanks to CG and CGD fittings with built in chain pockets, the length of this sling is completely adjustable, great for use with various picks
- Great for lifts with multiple pick points for greater load stability
- GBK self-locking hooks are a customer favorite because the grip latch locks into the point of the hook
- Comes furnished with a metal load tag that indicates chain size, length, Working Load Limit and serial number
