Product Description
Lifting-Capable Worm Gear Winch with Brake and Drill Drive Compatibility
Engineered for serious lifting tasks, the Thern 2W40-BM Worm Gear Winch offers the same pulling strength as the 2W40-M—4,600 lbs on the first layer—but adds a built-in load-holding brake and full lifting capabilities. Whether you're hoisting heavy equipment or suspending loads overhead, this winch is up to the task. It features an enclosed, oil-bath-lubricated bronze worm gear system for smooth, quiet operation and maximum durability in tough jobsite environments.
Like its counterpart, the 2W40-BM is drill-drive compatible, giving you the option to speed up lifting and lowering with a portable drill (400 RPM max). It’s constructed from corrosion-resistant cast aluminum and features a large-diameter drum to minimize wire rope fatigue over time. A great choice for crane operations, construction hoisting, and industrial lifting where reliable load control is a must.
