Product Description
Justrite 7225130 Safety Can — 2.5 Gallon Type II with 1" Metal Hose, Red
Overview: The Justrite 7225130 is a 2.5-gallon Type II AccuFlow™ steel safety can engineered for flammable liquid handling. It includes two openings — one for filling and one for controlled dispensing — plus a 1" diameter flexible metal hose and Safe-Squeeze® trigger for precise flow. Designed for mid-size fuel and solvent storage, it ensures both safety and ease of use in industrial, maintenance, and shop environments.
Why It’s Safer: The AccuFlow™ system with Safe-Squeeze® trigger eliminates dangerous glugs and allows controlled pouring. A stainless steel flame arrester dissipates heat to stop flashback ignition. The self-closing lid vents automatically between 3–5 psig to protect against rupture or explosion. Every can is pressure tested to guarantee 100% leakproof performance and finished with a durable, chemical-resistant powder coat.
Compliance & Approvals: Meets OSHA and NFPA 30 standards; FM, UL/ULC, and TÜV approved. CARB compliant and meets California CAL/OSHA requirements (CCR Title 8 §1930(a)(1)); exempt under CCR Title 13 §2467.3(c). Covered by a 10-year warranty.
