Justrite 7120100 Safety Can — 2 Gallon Type I, Red
Overview: The Justrite 7120100 is a 2-gallon Type I steel safety can for flammables, offering compact storage with built-in protection features. Its single spout design makes filling and pouring simple, while safety mechanisms like a flame arrester and self-closing lid help reduce fire risks in labs, shops, and industrial work areas.
Why It’s Safer: The sealed lid includes automatic positive-pressure relief that vents between 3–5 psig to prevent rupture or explosion. Each can is equipped with a stainless steel flame arrester to dissipate heat and prevent flashback ignition. Rugged powder-coated steel resists chemicals and corrosion, while every can is tested to ensure 100% leakproof performance.
Compliance & Approvals: Meets OSHA and NFPA 30 requirements; FM, UL/ULC, and TÜV approved. CARB compliant and meets California CAL/OSHA requirements (CCR Title 8 §1930(a)(1)); exempt under CCR Title 13 §2467.3(c).
