Product Description
Yale Buzzz Line Climbing Rope – 1/2" 12-Strand Hollow Braid (High-Visibility Orange)
Yale Buzzz Line is a high-visibility, commercial-grade climbing rope built on the proven XTC-12 style, but engineered with higher strength and an easy-to-spot bright orange color. This “nubbier” 12-strand hollow braid is designed to be round and stay round, delivering excellent abrasion resistance and a firm, confidence-inspiring hand for traditional climbing systems.
With its coreless single-braid construction, Buzzz Line offers straightforward handling, strong grip (even with gloves), and reliable performance in both wet and dry conditions. The all-synthetic rope resists rot and mildew for dependable day-to-day use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Buzzz Line the same as XTC-12?
Buzzz Line is a variation of the XTC-12 style (12-strand, nubby hollow braid), but with higher published strength and a high-visibility orange color.
Does this rope work well in wet conditions?
Yes. The all-synthetic construction resists rot and mildew and performs reliably in both wet and dry environments.
What’s the advantage of a coreless hollow braid?
Hollow braid construction eliminates a separate core—strength comes from the braided strands themselves, helping keep the rope round, firm, and easy to handle.
