Product Description

Pewag PLE/N Weld-On D-Ring Lifting Points – Grade 80 Profilift eta

The Pewag PLE/N weld-on D-ring lifting points are designed for permanent attachment to machine frames, fabricated structures, and vehicle bodies where lifting and lashing loads may be applied from virtually any direction. Manufactured from Grade 80 alloy steel, the PLE/N series is approved for both overhead lifting and lashing and is well known for its patented spring-loaded D-ring that holds position for faster, safer rigging.

The integrated spring keeps the ring standing at the desired angle, enabling one-hand hook-up, while the contoured saddle base helps ensure proper alignment during welding—reducing installation time and rework.

Key Features:

  • Grade 80 weld-on lifting point approved for overhead lifting and lashing
  • Multi-directional loading capability (observe applicable WLL tables)
  • Patented spring holds D-ring at the required angle for one-hand rigging
  • Unique saddle design promotes correct alignment and easier installation
  • Ideal for permanent attachment to machinery, attachments, and truck bodies
Important: Welding must be performed by a qualified welder. After installation, the D-ring must rotate freely through 180°. Do not modify or heat-treat the lifting point after welding.

Pro Tip: When used for lashing applications, Pewag specifies a permissible tensile force of LC = 2 × WLL. Lifting points used for lashing should be clearly identified and not reused for overhead lifting.
