The Only Six-Sided Security Chain We Offer!
Peerless went their own direction when it came to designing a high-quality, cut-resistant security chain. Their effort really paid off! Their "hex" chain is a high alloy chain drawn in a six-sided (hexagonal) shape and heat-treated to be extremely hard. The hex shape does not allow bolt cutters to get a proper bite, which prevents them from cutting the chain (check out our YouTube videos!). It is ideal for securing equipment or portable tools at a jobsite or for general purpose security. Instead of being hardened merely on the surface (aka "case-hardened"), this chain is hardened all the way through to 53-58 HRC. This means a would-be thief works just as hard to get through the middle of the chain as he does the outside of the chain.
What Size is This Chain?
The diameter of this chain, at 7/16" (11mm), is also unique. It sits right between two very popular sizes, 3/8" (10mm) and 1/2" (12-13mm). Many customers choose this chain because they feel they get the best of both worlds--not too heavy, yet still beefy and intimidating. The blue color really looks sharp too!
How to Order
For your convenience we offer this chain cut in any length you want (measured in one foot increments) up to 50 linear feet. If you want your chain cut to a particular length, simply choose that length from the drop down list above. If you want multiple pieces cut in different lengths, you can do that as well. Just click the length you want from the drop down list, add to cart, and repeat that process until you've added all your required lengths to the cart.
