Understanding Class 2 SRL-P Devices
Class 2 SRL-P devices are intended for use when the anchorage point is located above or below the dorsal D-ring. These configurations may result in longer free-fall distances and increased arresting forces, which is why Class 2 SRLs incorporate enhanced energy-absorbing components. Selecting the correct SRL class is essential for maintaining compliance and ensuring worker safety.
Lightweight, compact, and built for demanding edge-hazard environments, the Palmer Safety MicroBEAST EDGE™ 6’ SRL-P with Small Hook is a smart choice for crews who need dependable fall protection without unnecessary bulk.
