Product Description
Notch RC Aluminum Grappling Hook
The Notch RC Grappling Hook is a purpose-built canopy mobility tool designed to help arborists reposition efficiently while remaining tied into their primary climbing line. Developed in collaboration with Reg Coates, the RC Grapple attaches to the tag end of a main climbing rope, allowing climbers to reach a new work position before transitioning to a dedicated work positioning system.
The low-profile, collapsible design keeps the Grapple compact on the harness and out of the way until needed. Its streamlined, aerodynamic shape slips easily into tight unions and reliably grabs limbs, while the folding hook design enables smooth remote retrieval by introducing slack and pulling the line back in.
Key Features:
- Ultimate work positioning assistant for efficient movement throughout the canopy
- Patent-pending compact and collapsible design for easy deployment, retrieval, and racking
- Effortless remote retrieval enabled by the folding hook geometry
- Sleek, aerodynamic profile fits tight unions and hooks limbs easily
- 160 kg (353 lb) Working Load Limit for maneuvering applications
- Scannable enabled for track and trace capability using a data matrix
- Designed by Reg Coates and manufactured by Notch
