Product Description

Secure your log loads with our premium 3/8" x 28 ft log truck wrapper featuring 8 ft of 9/32" Grade 100 alloy chain. The overall length of the complete assembly is 28 feet, comprised of 20 feet of finished wire rope and 8 feet of high-strength chain. The Grade 100 chain is smaller and lighter compared to 5/16" Grade 70 transport chain, making it easier to throw and helping to reduce driver fatigue.

How Log Wrappers Are Used:

Log wrappers are typically thrown over the bundled logs on a trailer and then secured using a load binder, usually a lever binder rated for 9/32" Grade 100 chain. Repeatedly throwing wrappers can put strain on a driver’s shoulders, so using lighter-weight chain helps reduce fatigue and potential injuries. Be sure to follow proper load securing procedures and check local regulations to ensure compliance.

Key Features:

  • Robust Construction: Crafted from 3/8" 6x36 IWRC EIPS wire rope, offering enhanced flexibility and fatigue resistance compared to traditional 6x19 class ropes. Breaking strength of 15,100 lbs for dependable performance.
  • High-Strength Chain: Includes 8 feet of 9/32" Grade 100 alloy chain with a breaking strength of 17,200 lbs, designed to withstand heavy loads while reducing the weight drivers have to throw.
  • Overall Length: The complete assembly measures 28 feet, consisting of 20 feet of finished cable and 8 feet of chain.

Why Choose Our Log Wrappers?

  • Strength You Can Rely On: Exceeds standard breaking strength requirements.
  • Lighter Weight for Reduced Fatigue: The Grade 100 chain is smaller and lighter, making it easier to throw and minimizing shoulder strain.
  • Versatile and Customizable: Multiple chain cut options to match your specific needs.
  • Made to Last: Durable construction with fatigue-resistant cable and high-strength chain.
  • Precision Engineering: Smooth, tapered sleeves and compact Flemish eyes reduce the risk of hang-ups.
