Product Description
Gunnebo LBK Swivel Safety Hooks – Secure, Self-Closing, and Easy to Inspect
The Gunnebo LBK series features swivel safety hooks designed for Grade 100 and Grade 80 chain sling assemblies. These hooks offer the same robust construction and safety features found in Gunnebo’s premium lineup, including the GripLatch system—a spring-loaded latch that provides a secure lock with quick visual inspection. While the LBK series includes a swiveling eye for positioning before lifting, it does not feature a load-rated bearing, so it is not designed to rotate under load.
Key Features
- Swiveling eye allows easy positioning prior to lift
- GripLatch safety latch ensures positive closure and inspection visibility
- No bearing—not intended for rotation under load
- Proof tested to 2.5x the working load limit
- Fatigue rated for 20,000 cycles
- Forged, quenched, and tempered alloy steel
- Meets EN 1677:2008 and ASTM A952/A952M
- 4:1 design factor for added safety
Product Range
- Working Load Limits from 5,700 lbs to 22,600 lbs
- Compatible with chain sizes from 9/32" to 5/8"
- Suited for use in both Grade 100 and Grade 80 chain slings
The Gunnebo LBK series is an excellent option for lifting scenarios where secure hook closure and pre-lift positioning are important, but in-lift rotation is not required. Built for reliability in tough environments, these hooks are a go-to solution for safety-conscious riggers and lifting professionals.
