The 3M DBI-SALA Wood Pole Adjustable Rope Fall Restricting Device 1204058 is designed for utility professionals who need dependable fall restriction while climbing wood transmission poles. Built with input from real pole climbers, this adjustable rope device is lightweight, durable, and easy to reposition as you move up the pole.
This 8-foot pole strap features a polyester kernmantle rope with a nylon/Technora core, along with an abrasion-resistant sleeve for added durability in demanding field conditions. The system is designed to cinch around the pole during a cut out, helping provide secure restriction while still allowing smooth one-handed adjustment and efficient pole progression.
High-strength Saflok™ carabiners and an integrated stopping cleat round out the design, giving climbers a rugged and practical solution for everyday utility work. The exterior strap can also be swapped in the field depending on pole size, reducing the need for multiple systems.
