Product Description
Caldwell Model PS Quick Disconnect Pipe Lifting Slings
The Caldwell Model PS Quick Disconnect Pipe Lifting Sling is designed for fast, efficient handling of pipe in shops, yards, and on jobsites. Instead of removing the sling from the hook between picks, the sling wraps around the pipe and buckles to itself, helping operators move pipe quickly while maintaining proper balance when used in pairs. All Model PS slings are built to order and manufactured in accordance with applicable ASME standards.
Key Features
- Quick and easy rigging for faster lifting cycles
- Sling wraps around the pipe and buckles together—no need to remove from the hook between lifts
- Recommended for use in pairs for better lifting stability, although single-sling lifting is possible
- Ideal for steel, ductile iron, PVC, HDPE, and coated pipe
- Complies with ASME standards for below-the-hook lifting devices
Important
- These slings are made to order; standard lead times apply.
- Because they are custom-manufactured, Model PS slings are not returnable.
- Using two slings is recommended to maintain balance across longer pipe lengths.
