Product Description
9/16" Cat Choker – Medium Duty+ Steel Cable Choker for Log Skidding
Our 9/16" Cat Choker is a trusted choice for loggers, landowners, and forestry crews needing a Medium Duty+ steel choker that offers more strength than a 1/2" model without stepping up to the weight of a full heavy-duty rig. Built in-house by our experienced team, this choker is designed for serious ground-based skidding operations—ideal for timber management, land clearing, and rugged property maintenance.
Each choker is made from tough 6x19 class IWRC EIPS wire rope and features professionally swaged fittings for maximum durability. A heavy-duty Midget-size choker hook allows fast engagement around logs using the traditional bell and nub setup, creating a self-tightening choke when tensioned. This setup is proven, simple, and reliable in demanding forestry conditions.
