Product Description

The Van Beest Green Pin® G-6323 Turnbuckle is a heavy-duty tensioning solution designed for precision adjustment in rigging systems where secure jaw-to-jaw connections are needed. This model features a safety bolt and nut design rather than a cotter pin, offering a more secure and maintenance-friendly setup for demanding environments such as construction, infrastructure, utilities, and industrial rigging.

Manufactured from drop-forged, high-tensile steel and finished with hot-dip galvanizing, the G-6323 provides strength and corrosion resistance. It is engineered to a 5:1 safety factor and conforms to ASTM F1145-92 (formerly U.S. Federal Specification FF-T-791b), ensuring consistent quality and performance under load.

Features & Benefits:

  • Jaw-to-jaw configuration for closed-loop terminations with clevis compatibility.
  • Safety bolt and nut system for added security and reduced maintenance vs. cotter pins.
  • Forged high-tensile steel (SAE 1035/1045) construction for superior strength and reliability.
  • Hot-dip galvanized finish for long-term corrosion protection in outdoor and marine environments.
  • 5:1 design factor (MBL = 5x WLL) ensures safe usage in tensioning applications.
  • CE-marked and available with 2.1, 2.2, or 3.1 material test certificates upon request.

Specifications:

  • Configuration: Jaw & Jaw with safety bolt and nut
  • Thread Sizes Available: 3/8" to 2-3/4"
  • Take-Up Lengths: 6" to 24"
  • Working Load Limit Range: 0.54 to 34 metric tons
  • Material: Drop-forged high-tensile steel (SAE 1035 or 1045)
  • Finish: Hot-dip galvanized
  • Standards: ASTM F1145-92, FF-T-791b (former)
  • Certification: 2.1, 2.2, or 3.1 MTC; CE-marked

The Green Pin® G-6323 Turnbuckle offers rugged performance and extra security in critical tensioning operations where a bolt-and-nut jaw connection is preferred over traditional cotter pin designs. It’s a go-to choice for riggers and engineers seeking a durable, certified, and easy-to-maintain solution.
