Product Description

Crosby G-2169 Wide Body Sling Shackles – Galvanized Alloy Steel, Screw Pin

The Crosby G-2169 Wide Body Shackles are purpose-built sling shackles designed with a wider bearing surface to improve sling efficiency and reduce point loading on synthetic and wire rope slings. These shackles provide performance similar to the G-2160 series but are available in three popular sizes with favorable pricing, making them an excellent option for everyday rigging and sling connections.

Manufactured from forged alloy steel and quenched & tempered for maximum strength, the G-2169 shackles are supplied with a durable galvanized finish. Each shackle features Crosby’s trusted engineering and quality control, including traceability and rigorous performance standards.

Key Features:

  • Wide body sling shackle design increases bearing surface for improved sling efficiency
  • Quenched & tempered forged alloy steel construction for maximum strength
  • Hot-dip galvanized finish for corrosion resistance
  • Working Load Limit permanently shown on every shackle
  • Proof testing and magnetic particle inspection available upon request
  • Crosby certification available at time of order
  • Meets or exceeds all requirements of ASME B30.26
  • Also meets additional performance requirements including fatigue life, impact properties, and material traceability
  • Look for the Red Pin® — the mark of genuine Crosby quality
Important: For side loading or non-inline loading conditions, Working Load Limits may require reduction. Always follow proper rigging practices and manufacturer recommendations.
