Product Description

RUD ACP-Turnado Hoist Rings – Automatic-Center-Point Swivel Lifting Points

The RUD ACP-Turnado hoist ring is a premium swivel lifting point designed to automatically align itself with the direction of pull during lifting operations. Unlike conventional hoist rings that may stop in unfavorable positions, the ACP-Turnado features a unique spring-assisted mechanism that keeps the lifting bail oriented in a safe working position, reducing the risk of dangerous side loading or transverse forces.

Engineered by RUD in Germany, the ACP-Turnado offers a 360° rotating base and 180° pivoting lifting ring, allowing the lifting point to adapt naturally to the load direction. The design prevents kinking and uneven loading while maintaining smooth articulation during lifts. These hoist rings are available in both metric threads (M8–M30) and UNC threads (1/2″–1-1/4″), with working load limits ranging from 0.7 tons up to 8 tons. ACP-Turnado lifting points meet ASME B30.26 requirements and are supplied with RUD high-strength bolts, including the RUD ICE-Bolt on sizes up to M24.

With its compact profile, automatic alignment capability, and rugged construction, the ACP-Turnado is considered one of the most versatile lifting points available for machinery, fabricated components, and industrial lifting applications.
